Tonya Marie Camp Williams

Tonya Marie Camp Williams was born August 6, 1976 to Travis and Toni Camp. She passed away on Friday morning, January 5, 2024 after a lengthy battle with an aggressive cancer.

Tonya grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana and graduated from Southwood High School in 1994. She married the love of her life, Bo Williams on February 27, 1999 at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church. Together they had their only daughter, Shelby, who was Tonya’s very best friend. She was a devoted mother, wife, and rock of the family.

Tonya loved to shop, spend weeks at the beach, and have girls' days with Shelby. She loved to plan parties and could always be counted on to be the perfect hostess and show everyone a great time. She especially loved it when Bo would bring her red roses.

Tonya worked in the medical field for over 20 years, 17 of those years at Highland Clinic for Dr. Anglin.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roy and Laverne Savat; mother-in-law, Carolyn Landers; Aunt Connie Kasey; Uncle Steve Savat; and her precious dog, Little Bit.

She is survived by her husband, Bo; only daughter, Shelby; and long-term boyfriend, George; parents, Travis and Toni Camp; brother, Todd; brother-in-law, Brewer Williams and wife, Cathy; nephews, Bailey and Hayden Williams; and father-in-law, Larry Williams.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Rose-Neath South Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Monsignor Earl Provenza. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery.

Honoring Tonya as pallbearers will be Dustin Ruso, Chasen Swan, Brewer Williams, George Hutchings, Bailey Williams, and Hayden Williams.

The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice for their wonderful care of Tonya, particularly nurses Kelly, Vicky, and especially,  Autum.
