Minden, LA Funeral services for Travis Ray Gartman will be held Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Bill Crider and Rev. Fred Wideman officiating. Interment will follow at Bistineau Cemetery in Heflin, Louisiana. Visitation will be Friday, August 7, 2020 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Travis was born August 15, 1953 in Shreveport, Louisiana and entered into rest August 5, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in Thailand during Vietnam War and Antarctica in peacetime. Travis was a licensed Ham Operator and a LPN for 25 years, most of that time employed with Minden Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis E. Gartman. He is survived by his wife, Betty Gartman of Minden; mother, Bessie Gartman of Minden; daughter, Melissa Rodgers of Texarkana, Arkansas; brother, Curtis W. Gartman & wife Kris of Meridian, Texas; adopted sister, Sanja Caffey of Mt. Zion, Illinois; stepsons, Mark Roberson of Minden, Matthew Roberson of Duncan, Oklahoma, Michael Roberson of Cypress, Texas; grandson, Daniel Rodgers; nephew, Anthony S.
