Troy "Trippin Troy" Daniel-Socha Ducote

Troy “Trippin Troy” Daniel-Socha Ducote, 35, of Baker, Louisiana passed away on August 16, 2024. He was born on March 15, 1989, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Reginald and Cynthia Ducote.

Troy Ducote, a kind-hearted free spirit who touched the lives of everyone he met, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024. A proud graduate of Scotlandville Magnet High School, Troy went on to explore various paths and pursue his passions. Though he never married or had children of his own, Troy’s love and generosity knew no bounds, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Reginald Ducote, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Anthony Sr. and Thelma Socha; paternal grandparents, Robert Sr. and Cleo Ducote; and his uncles, Anthony Jr. Socha and David Socha. Left to cherish his memory include his parents, Reginald and Cynthia Ducote; sisters, Dawn, Denise, and Hannah Ducote; and his nephew, Marshall Ducote.

A memorial service honoring the life of Troy will be held at a later date.
