Veader McClure

Logansport, LA - Services for Veader McClure, 95, will be Monday, December 14, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Logansport Chapel with Bro. Edward Williams and Cody Price officiating. The burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery in Center, TX. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Logansport on Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Veader was born June 26, 1920 in Shelby County, TX to A.F. and Ellie Culbertson Cox and passed away in Mansfield on December 12, 2015. She was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Alf Garrett Chapter #123 Order of Eastern Star. Preceding Veader in death were her husband W. L. "Bill" McClure; parents A.F. and Ellie Culbertson Cox; sisters Marie Sheppard and Jennie Monsour; and brothers Steve Cox, Lambert Cox, Glen Cox, and Sammy Cox and granddaughter Angela Bossier. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters Betty Burgay and husband Stanley, Barbara Bossier and husband Buggy, Maryland Wilkinson, and Cherry Hipp and husband Ricky; grandchildren Chuck Kay and wife Kathy, Selisha Cockrell and husband Jay Dee, Stephen Burgay and wife Belinda, Daune Bossier and husband B.J., Jamie Santos and husband Chad, Tommy Price, Taunua Amburn and husband Lee, Jessica May and husband Frank, Misty Bynog, Dylan Wheless and wife Kelsey, Amanda Hipp, Terry Hipp and wife Jennifer, and Daniel Hipp and wife Jennifer; 26 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren. Honoring the life of Veader as pallbearers will be Chuck Kay, Jay Dee Cockrell, B.J. Bossier, Chad Santos, Tommy Price, Dylan Wheless, and Frank May. Honorary pallbearer will be Lee Amburn.
