Funeral services for Verna Ruth Reeves was held on Saturday, June 10,2017 at 1:00PM at Lakeside Baptist Church in Negreet, LA.: officiating was Brother Bill Craft. Interment followed in the Lakeside Baptist Church Cemetery. Verna Ruth Reeves was born on December 24,1940 in Texas. She went to be with the Lord on June 7,2017 while being cared for by her son and daughter-in-law in Starks, LA. Preceding her in death were her husband, Kirby Joe Reeves Sr. and daughter Janice Hebert. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Kirby Joe Reeves, Jr. & Ira Robin Reeves; her daughters Carolyn Ruth Savy & Leah Inez Spell; her sister Sheila Faye Disotell; her brother Ulys Thurman Harper;l many grandchildren and friends and relatives.
