Veronica "Ronee" Loraine Davis

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral Services celebrating the life of Veronica "Ronee" Loraine Davis, 78, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Rose-Neath Chapel, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, LA. Interment will follow at NWLA Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Monday, September 28, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Ronee was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on January 10, 1937 to Price Owen and Katherine L. Quizley Fell and passed away on September 23, 2015 from a lengthy illness. In 1955 Ronee married Robert Davis, Jr. and together, raised a family and traveled the world with the military. Ronee loved reading, gardening and playing with her grandchildren. She worked for Goodwill Services until her retirement. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Preceding her in death are her parents; also her husband, Robert Davis, Jr.; her son, Robert Davis and her brother, Robert Fell. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Alan Davis and wife, Cynthia, Robert Davis and wife, Sandy, and James Davis; grandchildren, Heather King and husband, Chad, Amanda Holt and husband, Clif, Rachel Dixon and husband, Rusty, Stephanie Davis and Christina Davis; also her great-grandchildren, Randy, Cason and Carley Cox, Lexi King, Shelby and Bryce Holt, Hunter and Hailee Dixon, Tristan and Braydon Allen, Alycia, Isaiah, Jason Fikes, Jr., and Alliah Fikes; also her brother, Richard E. Fell; sister-in-law, Lurline Ramsey, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Honoring as pallbearers will be Donavan Smith, Dennis Wolfe, Zan Mullins, Greg Racicky, Terry Flores and Dwayne Bell. The family would like to say a special thanks to all the staff at The Bradford nursing home; and also a special thanks to Marilyn Saffel for being such a great friend and for always being there and able to share all the loving memories they made together throughout the years.
