Arcadia - Funeral services will be held for Vicki Smith Bamburg, age 68, at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Arcadia. Bro. Ronnie Osborne will officiate. Interment will follow at Driskill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday.
Vicki was born September 16, 1949 in Ringgold, LA, to Thomas Smith, Jr. and Hazel Smith. She passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018, in Shreveport, LA. Vicki worked for Western Electric for 16 years, as well as an auto parts supplier as a supervisor for the delivery drivers. Vicki liked to fish and work in the yard with her flowers. But most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Vicki is preceded in death by her father Thomas Smith, Jr. and by sister Yvonne Smith Sangster.
She is survived by her mother Hazel Smith, her sons Steven Knotts and wife Kathy, and Paul Knotts and wife Kim, by her fiancé Tony Driskill, grandchildren Dalton, McKenzie, and Amberly Knotts, by her siblings Danny Smith, Susan Salter and Jackie Smith, and by numerous other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Dalton Knotts, Bill Salter, Danny Driskill, Mike Driskill, Ernie Kelley and Cole Hughes.
