Vincent Joseph Anzalone, Jr. Vincent (Vinny) Anzalone Jr. passed away unexpected on June 19, 2015 while vacationing with his family in Florida. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Rose-Neath Marshall St. Chapel. Private family burial will follow at a later date. Visitation with the family will be held Friday, June 26, 2015 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home. He was born in Monroe, LA on November 10, 1949. He graduated from St. Frederick High School and attended Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe. He retired as a supervisor from AT&T in 2009 where he worked for over thirty-five years. He is preceded in death by his brother Robert (Bobby) Anzalone. He is survived by his wife Mona Lisa Anzalone, his mother Flo Anzalone of Monroe, his daughter Alycia Anzalone, his son Brian Jerald (BJ) Anzalone all of San Diego, CA; his step-children Jonathan Hodge and wife Christina, Katie Hodge Hollis and husband Benny, all of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren Jackson and Cameron Himaya of San Diego, CA, Collin Hodge, Onalis and Aulden Hollis, all of Shreveport; his siblings; Alyce Anzalone Roberie and husband Gervis, of Opelousas, LA, Rick Anzalone, of Monroe, LA, Randy Anzalone, of Houston, TX, Larry Anzalone, of Monroe, LA, Mark Anzalone, of Monroe, LA, Sherry Anzalone Portuese and husband Bill, of Seattle, WA, and Tina Anzalone and wife Katie, of Monroe, LA and nieces, nephews, cousins and host of friends. Vinny was happy with a cold drink in his hand on a beach with family and friends. He could be found out on his boat fishing, hiking a mountain, watching a baseball game, listening to music or traveling the world with his wife. He was happiest at home with his wife working on a project but never too busy to stop, have a beer and talk to the ones he loved. As his baby sister says \"If you were lucky enough to know him, you loved him.\" Lisa would like to express her sincere appreciation to her United Airlines family for bringing Vincent home.
