SHREVEPORT, LA- Funeral services for Virgil Howard Ebarb, 65, will be held at 12 noon Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Father Rothell Price. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday July 9, 2014 at the funeral home.
Virgil was born on July 26, 1948 in Zwolle, LA and passed away on July 8, 2014. He was a resident of Shreveport, and retired feeder truck driver for UPS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil A. and Florence C Ebarb. He is survived by his son: Jason A. Ebarb and wife, Chrissy; daughter, Paige D. Burton and husband, Paul; grandchildren, Christopher Evans, Adam Ebarb, Shelby Miller, Zachary Miller, Kassi Strother, Nick Ezernack, Tristen Ebarb and Brianna Ezernack; siblings, Verda Leone and husband, Joe, Verna Daniel and husband, David and Thelma Sandifer and husband, Dewayne.
Honoring Virgil as pallbearers will be Charlie Arehart, Jerry Burton, Will Coleman, Steven Cooper, John Peace, Bobby Malmay and John Neal. Honorary pallbearers will be UPS Feeder Drivers.
