Funeral services for Virginia Clark of Gibsland, Louisiana will be held Friday, June 4, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church with Brother Stan McGee and Brother James Everage officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 11:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
Virginia was born April 9, 1950, in Oak Grove, Louisiana. She entered peacefully into rest on Monday May 31, 2021, in Bossier City, Louisiana.
She met her husband of 53 years in Gibsland, Louisiana. She was a very hard worker and worked for Ball Inc. for 39 years. She served on all committees over the years at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and had a card ministry that she sent to people when they were sick or grieving.
Her family lovingly referred to her as Gin, mom, and for so many other children, grandma. She loved to cook, and her family loved to eat. She always fixed everyone's favorite food, nobody ever went hungry, whether family, her church or just someone in need.
Virginia was a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother, she was loved deeply by her family, friends and her community and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her father James Thomas Grubbs. She is survived by her husband Aaron Clark; daughter, Kimberly Rigdon, and husband Eric Rigdon; granddaughter, Alexis Thompson, and husband Dale Thompson; mother, Ruby Grubbs; Sister, Vicki Pierron, and husband Bill; niece, Katie Pierron; nephews, John Pierron and wife Charlotte, Alex Pierron, and wife Traci along with their children Ben and Zoe Pierron.
