Virginia Pixley

Arcadia - Funeral services will be held for Virginia Pixley, age 74, at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Arcadia. Rev. Jeff Hoffman and Rev. R.B. Moore will officiate. Interment will follow at Hurricane Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Rose-Neath Funeral Home.

Virginia was born September 16, 1942 in Shreveport, to Clyde and Thelma Conley Hinson. She passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017 in Arcadia. Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as a wonderful friend to everyone that knew her. She always had a kind word, and was willing to help everyone.

She is preceded in death by her son, Joseph Wimberly, parents and 4 siblings.

Virginia is survived by her husband Buddy Pixley, son John Todd III, daughter Tammy Sneed and husband Stanley, stepchildren Waylon Pixley and wife Janice and Stacy Pickens and husband David, grandchildren Sarah Tims and husband Mickie, Jeff Hines and wife Ashley, Shay Sneed, Kyle Sneed and wife Kaylie, and Malina Lewter and husband Casey, by 8 great-grandchildren, long-time friend Margaret James, special brother-in-law and sister-in-law Daphne and WA Spigner and by numerous other family and dear friends.
