Virginia "Ginny" Ann Spitale

SHREVEPORT, LA - A Celebration of Life Memorial service for Ginny Spitale, 60, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. John Harp will be officiating. Ginny was born on December 13, 1954 in Greeley, CO to Alford Granger and Darlene Virginia Smith and passed away on October 3, 2015. Ginny lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping and riding the Harley with her husband. She loved her kids and grandchildren "to the moon and back." She will be missed dearly. Ginny was preceded in death by her mother, Darlene Smith and her brother, John Granger. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 31 years, John Spitale; son, Jamie Spitale and wife, Jennifer; daughters, Wendy Green and husband, Brad, and Kimberly Booker and husband, Stephen; grandchildren, Megan and Dalton Green, Lane, Noah, and Bailey Booker, and Emma Spitale; sisters, Peggy Elisoff and husband, Mike, and Laurie Morales and husband, Sammie; brother, Joe Smith and wife, April, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials may be made to The Grace Home, 1035 Margaret Pl, Shreveport, LA 71101.
