BENTON, LA- Services for Vivian "Nana" Benson, 76, will be 9:30 Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Bryan Reed. Interment will follow at Plain Dealing Cemetery. Visitation will be at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Bossier City, LA on Monday, June 30, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.   Nana died peacefully on June 27, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. She was born on August 13, 1937 in Plain Dealing, LA and was a resident of Benton, LA.   She is preceded in death by her parents, Berry and Vergie Shoumaker; all of her brothers and sisters; grandson, Nick Benson; and daughter-in-law, Angela Benson.   Vivian is survived by her husband of 59 years, J.C. Benson; daughter, Lisa Flores and husband Joe; sons, Jerry Benson and wife, Anita, Larry Benson and wife, Darlene, Carl Benson and Kim; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.   Pallbearers will be J.J. Benson, L.J. Benson, Joe Flores, Slade Hood, Nick Herzog and Eddie Wayne Chriss.   Nana was loved by all and brought so much love to everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed. May Heaven's Angels guide your steps and always keep you safe. We have never stopped thanking God for you and you will always have a special place in our hearts. We love you Nana.
