Vivian Aline Burgess

Shreveport, LA- A graveside service for Vivian Aline Estes Burgess will be held 12 noon Monday, February 23, 2015 at Montgomery MT Zion UMC in Montgomery, Louisiana. Officiating will be Brother Larry Tucker. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Southside funeral home. Vivian was born August 12, 1925 in Winn Parish, Louisiana to Matthew Alvis and Linnie Mae Davison Estes. She passed away on February 21, 2015. She was a longtime member of Lakeview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Hugh Lee Burgess, and brother, Glynn Estes. She is survived by her son, Jerry and wife, Linda Burgess, grandson, Kenneth and wife, Sheri Burgess, granddaughter, Cindy Burgress, 4 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
