Vivian Dalton Gaensehals

Funeral services for Vivian Dalton Gaensehals, 75, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home,  1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent. Officiating the service will be Pastor Daryl Miller.

Vivian was born on November 15, 1947 to Thomas and Clell Mangrum in Scotts Hill, Tennessee and passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Vivian worked in a supportive role in several dental practices over several decades on many patients, including Elvis Presley.  Above all, she was a loving wife and mother. Family was everything to her and she was everything to them. To know her was to love her and she will be truly missed.

She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Mangrum and second husband, Dr. William Montie Dalton, III. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Frank Gaensehals; son, John Howell and wife, Hilary; daughter, Kirby Dalton-Bray and husband, Justin; mother, Clell Mangrum; step-children, Eric Gaensehals and wife, Tammy and Emily Mock and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Kai Howell, Pearson Mock, Neal Gaensehals, Nolan Mock and Dalton Bray and sisters, Wanda Creasey and Patsy Talbert.

Honoring Vivian as pallbearers will be Dr. Jared Boyd, Mike Boyd, Dr. Marion Cash, Kai Howell, Dr. Ed Johnson and Justin Bray. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Bud Westmoreland and Bobby Shields.
