Walter Allen Livingston

Funeral services for Walter Allen Livingston, 80, will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Haughton Cemetery in Haughton, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Gevin Spinney.

Walter was born on December 28, 1943, to M.S. Livingston, Jr. and Warnie Livingston in Shreveport, Louisiana, and passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024, in Bossier City, Louisiana. Walter was a man of strong faith, having loved the Lord throughout his life.

He was the husband of Linda Wilkins Livingston, with whom he shared a remarkable marriage that lasted 59 years. Their partnership was a testament to love and commitment, and together they built a life of lasting memories and legacy.

Walter was known for his passion for the outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish, often immersing himself in nature’s beauty. Additionally, he had a great appreciation for adventure and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Walter leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and adventure that will be remembered by all who knew him.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents, M.S. Livingston, Jr. and Warnie Livingston, and his grandparents. Son, Walt Livingston; sister, Bobbie Livingston Adams; brothers, Bill, Jerry, and Kenny Livingston. He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Wilkins Livingston; sisters, Teresa Currie, and Micki Paulette, and aunt, Pat Yount.

Honoring Walter as pallbearers will be Royce Green, Larry Small, Mike Ritter, Danny Dean, Louis McCreary, and Rodney Faircloth.
