Converse, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Walter Spillyards, Sr, 76 will be at graveside at 10:00 AM Friday, March 4, 2016 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Converse, LA with Reverend Chucky Clark officiating. Walter was born in Converse, LA to Quinton and Mary Folks Spillyards and passed away March 2, 2016. Preceding Walter in death were his parents Quinton and Mary Spillyards; wife Mary Spillyards; brother, Charles Spillyards; and sister Gloria Spillyards Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Walter H. Spillyards, Jr and wife Kristy, Lloyd D. Spillyards and companion Sally Norwood, Donny R. Spillyards and wife Margaret, step-son Kevin Craig and wife Danette; sister, Hazel Bourgue and husband Thomas; eleven grandchildren; twleve great grandchildren ; 2 nephews, and once niece.
