Wanda Sue Baker

Wanda Sue Baker, 64, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 12, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Wanda was born on October 26, 1958 to Travis Lee Baker, Sr. and Mary Ann Byrd Baker in Shreveport, Louisiana. There will be a graveside service at Blanchard Memorial Gardens in Blanchard, Louisiana at a later date.

Wanda was a resident of Mooringsport, Louisiana. Many people may remember her from the many years she spent bartending and making many friends along the way. Her family meant the world to her. She loved spending time with them and enjoyed family gatherings. She especially loved being Nana to her precious grandson, Lane. Wanda loved watching movies and watching funny cat videos with her cat. She lived the way she wanted and wasn’t afraid to let you know! She’s finally free from all pain.

Wanda is preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory is her pride and joy, daughter, Heather Hunt Dudley and grandson, Lane Dudley; sister, Mary Ellen Schonfarber and husband, John; brothers, Travis Baker, Jr. and wife, Kathy; and William Baker; nieces, Brandie Fletcher, Mindy Schonfarber, Tiffany Baker; nephews, Travis Baker and Virgil Baker and wife, Dawn; great-nephew, Jace Beck; great-nieces, Taylor Fletcher, Skylar Fletcher and Jadyn Beck; great-great niece, Laylah Craig, great-great nephew, Eastyn Craig; and lifelong friends, Kellie Holt, Diane Weatherford and Kerry Mitchell.

Wanda will be terribly missed but live on in our hearts forever.
