Wanda Jean Pease

Haughton, LA - Wanda Jean Pease, 86, a long-time resident of Haughton, LA, moved to Heaven Saturday the 29^th of July, 2017 after a lengthy illness. Jean was born February 9, 1931 to Robert and Mary Murray Self in Hubbard, TX and passed away at Willis-Knighton Bossier. Funeral services for Jean will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Pease Chapel Assembly of God Church. Officiating will be Rev. Bill Stroud. Interment will follow at Pease Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 9:30 a.m. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, of 38 years, Harvey W. Pease, Sr.; oldest son, Harvey W. Pease, Jr.; her parents; two sisters and one brother. She is survived by her sons, Randy Pease and wife, Terri, Gary Pease and wife, Kay; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was a life-long member of Pease Chapel Assembly of God Church. Jean touched many lives in the community and was loved. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given in her remembrance to the Gideon Bibles International.
