Wanda Jo McWilliams

Wanda Jo McWilliams, 87, of Logansport, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 3, 1936, in Dallas, Texas to Willis and Rosella Clark Barrington.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Jessie Parent and J.W. McWilliams; her parents; her brothers, Ray Barrington, Otis Barrington, Roy Barrington, and T. W. Faulkner; and her sisters, Thelma Barrington, Faye Covey, Verdie Jenkins, Eythal Taylor and Edna Taylor.

Left to cherish her memory include her children, Jessie Parent Jr. and wife, Spring of Laporte, TX, David Parent and wife Marilyn of Logansport, LA, William Parent and wife Shelley of Hoodsport, WA, Gary Parent of Logansport, LA, Devail Renshaw of Paxton, TX, Roger Nixon and wife Polly of Palestine, TX, Robert Nixon and wife April of Logansport, LA; 12 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; sisters, Rozella Wynn and Cleta Tate; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
