William Paul Reyenga passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025. William “Bill” was born in Emmett, Arkansas on April 18, 1935.
Bill attended C.E. Byrd High School, Centenary College of Louisiana and Louisiana Tech University. He was a business owner of several successful businesses.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William D. Reyenga and Harriet T. Reyenga; brother, Charles R. Reyenga and one grandson, Andrew Bracton Fenton.
He is survived by his wife, Carol D. Reyenga; son, Barry Bracton Reyenga; daughter, Leann R. Fenton and husband, Shawn P. Fenton; grandson, William P. Fenton and wife, Olivia K. Fenton; granddaughter, Alexander R. Movan and husband, Matt Movan; two great-great-grandsons, Ezra and Everrit Movan and many other relatives.
Bill was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral, past President of Rotary Club of Shreveport, active in many projects for the Shreveport Opera, a member of East Ridge Country Club, and many other civic affairs.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and CNA’s at Ochsner Hospital and the supervisors, nurses, techs, and caregivers at Intensive Specialty Hospital within Willis Knighton Pierremont.
A service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral, 2785 Fairfield Ave., Shreveport, Louisiana 71104. A reception will follow. Officiating will be The Reverend Dean Alston Johnson.
