William E. "Bill" Buck SHREVEPORT, LA - Services for William "Bill" Edward Buck, 83, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at St. Lukes United Methodist Church, Shreveport LA. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to service at the church. Bill was born on November 14, 1932 in Magnolia, AR and passed away at his home on December 9, 2015 in Shreveport. He was a Round Dance instructor for the last 34 years who choreographed more than 85 dances over that time and received a Golden Torch for Outstanding Contribution to Choreographed Dancing. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Jane Bray Buck; parents, George Clyve Buck and Mary McDaniel Buck; daughter, Cynthia Ann Buck Smith; siblings, Mayme Claire Buck, and Clyve Buck. Left to cherish his memories are his grandson, William Matthew Smith (Matt); brothers-in-law, Wayne Bray, Jim Bray; sisters-in-law, Joy Buck, Lillie Alexander and husband Don; and his friends of Red River Rounders who he taught for many years and countless other students and friends.
