Funeral services for William L. "Bill" Carter will be held Sunday, July 5, 2015 at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Leland Crawford and Rob Basham officiating. The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church prior to the service. Bill was born June 18, 1930 in Shreveport Louisiana and entered into rest July 2, 2015 in Minden, Louisiana. Bill was a retired accountant for West Brothers, a member of First Baptist Church Minden, and a member of Gideon's International. He was clock builder and loved working with wood. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Carter. He is survived by his daughters Judith D'Angelo and husband Stephen of Pass Christian, Mississippi and Jean Basham and husband Ronnie of Minden, grandchildren Geoffrey Monzingo, William D'Angelo, Christian D'Angelo, Rob Basham, Angela Basham Partington and great-grandchildren Taylor Monzingo, Walker Basham, Abigail Basham, Brantley D'Angelo, Daniel Partington, and Nathan Partington.   Rose-Neath Funeral Home 211 Murrell Street Minden, Louisiana 71055 (318) 377-3412 Fax (318) 377-0227
