William Herbert Cassell

Stonewall, LA - A celebration of life for William Herbert Cassell, 86, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Forest Park West Cemetery, with Military Honors. Pastor Tony Nations will be officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Southside Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive. William was born on February 25, 1929 to Lewis and Laura Belle Cassell in Martinsville, VA. He passed away on December 19, 2015 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He served our country in the US Air Force for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Betty Gilley Cassell. He is survived by his son, Rick D. Cassell and his wife, Anna, daughters, Deborah J. Rowell and Cynthia D. Rosales, grandchildren, Kimberly, Shane, Shannon, Melissa, Jason, Cody, Nick, Matthew, and Wesley, and 25 great-grandchildren. Honoring William as pallbearers will be Shane Johnson, Cody Cassell, Nick Cassell, Wesley Cassell, Matthew Cassell, and Devon Baker.
