William Ralph Faith

A graveside service for William Ralph Faith, 82, will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent in Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Brother David Thompson.

William was born on September 9, 1941 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Rhodes Faith and Lilah Simon Faith and passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

William graduated from Fair Park High School in 1959 and then received his Master’s of Business Administration from Northwestern State University of Louisiana. He was married to Rita M. Faith for 39 years and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He retired from Union Pacific Railroad after 31 years of service and had a passion for restoring vintage cars.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Elizabeth Faith Sellnau. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Michele Faith and Wendell Faith and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members.  

The family would like to express their special thanks to the staff at Heritage Manor Stratmore and Lifepath Hospice for the care and compassion shown to William.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
