SHREVEPORT, LA - William Christopher "Chris" Flowers, 40, of Shreveport, LA., passed away March 24, 2016. A private family service is scheduled, and will be officiated by Pastor Chris Hough.
Chris Flowers was born on June 24, 1975, on Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, LA. Chris accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into his life during his school years. He graduated from Southwood High School, and married his childhood sweetheart, Heather Leigh Nichols, in 1996. Chris has been a loyal and dedicated employee of AT&T since April of 1999.
Chris is survived by his wife, Heather Nichols Flowers; daughters, Kylie Renee and Kiersty Rianne; son, Christopher Connor; grandmother, Edna Bishop; brother, Philip Flowers and wife, Whitney; sister, Kelly Flowers Burns and husband, Andy; father and mother-in-law, Robert "Bobby" and Rhonda Nichols; brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Shauna Sexton; nieces, Kelsey and Jillian Sexton, Amy, Kessa and Riley Burns, and Lainey Flowers; nephews, Josh Flowers, Aiden Sexton, and Jack Burns. Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Amy Flowers, both of Keithville, LA; grandfathers, William C. Bishop and Reuben E. Flowers; and grandmother, Gloria Flowers.
Chris lived his life for Heather and his children, and always worked hard to provide for them. Nothing was more important to Chris than the love he shared with Heather, Kylie, Kiersty, Connor, his siblings, and his nieces and nephews, who absolutely adored him. Chris always chose to see the good in people, and had a heart of solid gold. To say he is missed cannot touch the pain from the horrendous loss to his family.
