William Glenn Morgan

Funeral services for William Glenn Morgan, 86, will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Brother John Harp of Brookwood Baptist Church. A visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. An additional service will be held at Martin Baptist Church in Martin, Louisiana on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. with burial in the Martin Church Cemetery. William (Glenn) was born on December 6, 1934 to Laurie and Mary Belle Morgan in Coushatta, Louisiana and passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. William was a resident of Shreveport and was the Head of the Special Education Department at Southeastern Louisiana University, Hammond before retiring. His grandchildren were his hobby. He loved being with them and participating in all their activities. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be sorely missed. William is preceded in death by his parents, Laurie and Mary Belle; and sister, Ann. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 60 years, Lois Morgan; sons, Bill Morgan, Jr. and wife, Martha, Matt Morgan and wife, Tami; grandchildren, Samantha Morgan, Will Morgan, III, Kailey Morgan, Kelsey Morgan and Chris and LeeAnn Hodges. The family would like to express special thanks to the staff at Montclair Assisted Living Facility who cared for him during his illness. The family requests memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital in lieu of flowers.
