William Henry Smith

William Henry Smith, 44, went to meet his Lord and Savior on Friday, December 27, 2024, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born on November 4, 1980, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Rickey and Deborah Smith. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr. in Shreveport, Louisiana. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd. in Shreveport. Officiating the service will be Brother Gary Palmer.

William is preceded in death by his brother, Rick Smith; maternal grandfather, Joe Wade; and paternal grandparents, Aline Myers and Rufus Myers. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Rickey and Deborah Smith; sister, Stephanie Dayries; maternal grandmother, Melba Wade; Uncle Stan and Aunt Sandra Wade; nephews, Garrett, Gaven, Colton; nieces, Julie, Faith; and numerous cousins.

William will be greatly missed, but we are comforted in knowing he is in Heaven with his brother, grandfather, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
