William Fred Luker, Sr.

Shreveport, LA - Graveside services celebrating the life of William Fred Luker, Sr, 83, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery near Arcadia, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Ed Baswell. Fred was born on December 2, 1933 in Taylor, LA and went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 5, 2017. He retired from Lee Dry Goods as a Shipping Manager. Fred was also a faithful member and custodian at Southside Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Lafayette Luker and Lilah Mable Ratcliff Luker; twin brother, James Frank Luker; and sister, Mary Elizabeth Luker Lyles. Fred is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Mary Lou Tullos Luker; sons, William "Billy" Fred Luker Jr, Gerald Wayne Luker and wife Cynthia, Donald Ray Luker and wife Brandy; grandchildren, Erin Melissa Luker Jones, Annah Virgina Luker Burns, Mandy Noel Best, Anthony Wayne Luker, Justin Ray Luker, Brittany Michelle Luker Smith, Christopher Cody Luker; and seven great-grandchildren.
