SHREVEPORT, LA - A graveside service for William Edward Rowell, Jr. "WE", 93, will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent Ave. Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Carl Rhoads. "WE" was born March 7, 1921 in Shreveport, LA and passed away November 13, 2014. He graduated from C.E. Byrd High School. He worked at Ogilvie Hardware Store in Shreveport for many years. "WE" is preceded in death by wife, Margaret B. Rowell; parents, William Edward Rowell, Sr. and Dollie Mary Mounce Rowell; brother, Wallace R. Rowell. Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Mary Joyce Grover of Nixa, Missouri; first cousin, James A. Rowell, Jr.; nieces, Dollie Rowell Knoerr and Sena Smith; nephews, Dale Grover and Alan Grover. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 500 Common St., Shreveport, LA 71101 or the charity of your choice.
