MANSFIELD, LA - Celebration of Life services for William Thomas Shaw, 87, will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 6, 2014, in the Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel with Bro. Greg Sutis officiating. Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Shaw Cemetery, Mansfield, LA. The family would like to welcome guests for visitation Thursday, November 6, 2014, at Rose-Neath from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Mr. William was born July 23, 1927, in Texas to the late Thomas and Ona Mae Stanley Shaw and was called home November 1, 2014, in the comfort of his home surrounded by family. Mr. William was preceded in death by his parent, his beloved wife; Josephine Delores Patero Shaw, and one daughter; Rose Ann Byrd. Left to cherish the beautiful memories Mr. William leaves behind will be his daughter, Linda Mae Shaw; two sisters, Bertha Mae Bernal, Thelma Louise Logan and husband (Donald Ray); grandchildren, Crystal Lynn Waters, Linda Nicole Askew, Dixie Mae Racine and husband Ricky, Josephine Marie Sutis and husband Greg and William Jessie Byrd; great-grandchildren, Haley Michelle Davis and husband Cameron, Tyler Jade Kerley, Tanner Jace Kerley, Taylor Jackson Kerley, Heidi Lynn Water, Jessica Nicole Askew, Hannah Michelle Askew, Emma Mae Oakley, Jacob Randall Racine and Jesse Anthony Sutis; great-great-grandchildren, Kynsie Nicole Davis and Chase Parker Kerley; along with extended family members and many wonderful friends. Honoring Mr. William as pallbearers will be Greg Sutis, Ricky Racine, William Byrd, Tyler Kerley, Tanner Kerley and Taylor Kerley. Rose-Neath Southside 2500 Southside Drive318-687-1256
