Funeral services for William A. "Bill" Striplin will be held Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Richard Methvin officiating. Interment will follow at Lane Memorial Cemetery in Sibley, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Bill was born October 19, 1933 in Cotton Valley, Louisiana and entered into rest October 7, 2015 in Arcadia, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his wife Myrtis Joyce Striplin and daughter Sharon Morehead. He is survived by his daughters Kathy Renee Edwards and husband Ryan of Dubberly, Lisa Gail Chipmon and husband Daniel of Ruston, Jerrie Kelley and husband Kenny of Minden, son-in-law Ronald Morehead of Minden, sister Connie Domangue of Morgan City, grandchildren Jennifer Shidiskis, Phillip Edwards, Rhonda Addison, Rachel Martinez, Tabetha Chipmon, Derek Chipmon, Marsha Watkins, and Zoe Kelley and a number of great-grandchildren.
