Funeral services for Willie D Jones, Jr. will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Milton Vining officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Willie was born August 9, 1947 in Shreveport, Louisiana and entered into rest January 2, 2018 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He served his country in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Edna Dean Darnell.
He is survived by his wife Judy Jones of Heflin, sons, Tommy Harper and wife Donna of Jonesboro, Joey Harper and wife Tammy of Jamestown, Bruce Harper and wife Patricia of Heflin, Charles Harper and wife Carmen of Jonesboro-Hodge, Leonard Harper of Jonesboro, Paul Ray Stickley and wife Melissa of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Shannon Ashworth of Heflin; daughter, Theresa Marshall and husband Danny of Dana, Indiana; sisters, Linda Sue Harrell of Dubberly, Nadine Harrell of Dubberly, and Sondra Stout of Clover, South Carolina; brothers, Jimmy R. Jones and wife PoPae of ElPaso, Texas and Louis Raymond Jones and wife Lettie of El Paso, Texas; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
