A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Visitation with the family will be from 11 a.m. - 1: 00 p.m. Followed by a graveside service at Forest Park East Cemetery.
Wilma was born March 4, 1922 to Grover and Della Berry in Marthaville, LA. Wilma entered heaven on May 6, 2017. Wilma graduated with a business degree from Normal College (Northwestern). She spent her entire life serving the Lord and helping others. She was a Sunday school teacher and long-time member of Morningside / Kingston Road Baptist Church. Wilma was a loving mother and grandmother.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband John Stanley Sebren, her daughter Margaret Dunbar and son-in-law Gerry West; two brothers and three sisters.
Left to cherish her memories are two daughters, Katherine West and Brenda Goudeau (Bruce); one grandson; Col. William Dunbar (Leigh) of South Carolina, granddaughters; Jennifer Bullock (Chris) of Bossier City and Kelly Michelle Gee of Tampa, FL. Five great grandchildren, son-in-law Richard Dunbar, a special sister-in-law; Violet Coley, and numerous nieces and nephews including her faithful \"lunch bunch\" nieces.
The family would like to thank the sweet staff at the Glen Retirement Center as well as Lifepath Hospice for helping her through her last days.
Honoring Wilma as pallbearers will be: Robert Aieloo, Leonard Gresens, Thomas Johnson, Justin Sevier, Jeff Turner and Kent Walker.
