Mooringsport, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Yvonne Howe, age 72 will be held at 11:00 am March 5, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Vivian, LA with Pastor Justin Williams, pastor at Shreveport Community Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Mooringsport Memorial Gardens. There will be a time of visitation on Wednesday, March 4th from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Howe was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on July 14, 1942 to her parents, Manuel and Irene Moniz Cabral and passed away on February 28, 2015 at her residence in Mooringsport after a brief illness. She was a retired pastry chef and was of the Catholic faith.
Mrs. Howe was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward Howe and 7 siblings. She is survived by her son: Edward "Bubba" Howe and wife, Linda of Mooringsport, LA; daughters, Yvette Christian and husband, Jamie and Debbie Smith and husband Steve both of Mooringsport, LA and Sherry Rivers and husband, Shane of Keithville, LA. Mrs. Howe is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 ½ great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews who all reside in Hawaii.
Honoring Mrs. Howe, as pallbearers will be Brandon Howe, Jay Senn, Christopher Divine, Bobby McNeely, Cody McNeely and Alex Christian.
