MOORINGSPORT, LA - Adrienne was born September 30, 1952 in Shreveport, LA to Margaret Allene Gribble Poss and Dale Y. Poss and passed away November 7, 2018, in Vivian, LA. She graduated as Salutatorian from C. E. Byrd High School in 1970. Adrienne earned a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Northeast and was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. She was a debutant, Cotillion Maid, and member of the Junior League for many years. Adrienne worked for the United States Postal Service and retired as Postmaster after 33 years of loyal service.
Adrienne was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sandra Poss Harper. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Courtney Jackson and her husband Wayne; sister, Margaret Poss Teague; brother-in-law, Jon Harper; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews ; lifelong friends, Judith Hardtner Potor, Elisabeth Pholson and Susan Burke.
