Clyde Raymond Hunt

Graveside services for Clyde Raymond Hunt, 87, will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Road, Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Frank Himmel. Clyde was born on November 2, 1933 to Charles B. Hunt and Eva Juanita Dameron Hunt in Vicksburg, Mississippi and passed away Friday, February 12, 2021. Clyde was a resident of Shreveport and attended Viking Drive Church of Christ. He never met a stranger and enjoyed talking about the Bible to everyone he met. He loved growing vegetables and enjoyed sitting under his big oak tree and watching the beauty of nature. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 40 years, Ann Elizabeth Shoults Hunt; sisters, Syble Louise Hunt, Bonnie L. Holifield-Wilson and Juanita L. Holifield; brothers, Ralph D. Hunt and Otis P. Hunt. Left to cherish his memory is his son, Russell L. Hunt and wife, Susan; daughter, Brenda H. McConnell and husband, Greg; grandchildren, Angelique R. McConnell, Garret B. McConnell, Jarad W. McConnell; great-grandchild, Vera E. McConnell. The family would like to thank the staff of Garden Park Nursing Home for the years of care and compassion shown to Clyde.
