Concetta Jacks

Funeral services for Concetta Jacks, 86, will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church, 1050 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with a Vigil at 6:30 p.m. Officiating the service will be Reverend Rothell Price. Concetta was born on October 14, 1934 to Michael Peter Uli and Eleanor J. Uli in Chicago, Illinois and passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Concetta was an active member of St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church and a retired bookkeeper. She graduated from Fair Park High School. She loved to travel and was a doting grandmother to all of her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Jacks, three brothers, Peter Uli, Johnny Uli and Michael Uli; daughter-in-law, Kellie Bernard; son-in-law, William Deyoung III, and step-daughter, Linda Jacks. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Warren "Trey" Bernard III; daughter, Brenda Prichard and husband, Benjamin Prichard; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Honoring Concetta as pallbearers are Warren "Trey" Bernard III, Benjamin Prichard, Warren Bernard IV, William Deyoung IV, Travis Deyoung and Reid Bernard.
