Dale Elizabeth Sanders

Funeral services for Dale Elizabeth Sanders, 64, will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church Cemetery, 16835 US Hwy. 371 in Minden, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Dale was born on March 29, 1957 to Will Ira Sanders and Dorothie Elizabeth Dalton Sanders in Shreveport and passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 in Shreveport. Dale was a resident of Shreveport and a homemaker. Her children and grandchildren were her entire life. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family. Dale is preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Corey Lockey; daughter, Alicia Hortman and husband, Collin; and grandchildren, Dylan Mills, Brooklyn Laing, and Ryan Lockey. Honoring Dale as pallbearers will be Corey Lockey, Dylan Mills, Collin Hortman, Billy Ainsworth, Larry Martin and Marvin Coker. The family would like to express special thanks to all the doctors and nurses that took care of our mother three days a week for 31 years in her journey taking dialysis.
