Funeral services for Dalton Eason Canady will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Minister Joey Ketchum. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Dalton was born on February 24, 1997 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Mark Lynn Canady and Stacey Rowe Canady and passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Anyone who knew Dalton knew how caring and passionate he was. His free spirit loved hard and laughed often, always making friends. If you knew Dalton, then you have a story where he left an unforgettable mark in your life. He loved the LSU Tigers, Harry Potter and all animals.
Dalton is preceded in death by his grandparents, Grady and Sharon Arnold; uncle, Butchie Rowe and aunt, Donna Arnold Brown. He is survived by his father, Mark Canady and wife, Dianna of Marshall, Texas; mother, Stacey Rowe Canady of Rowlett, Texas; sister, Megan Sandifer and husband, Spencer of Bossier City, Louisiana; grandparents, Shirley Britt of Rowlett, Texas and Butch Rowe of Mooringsport, Louisiana; aunts, Leslie Andrews and husband, Chuck of Haughton, Louisiana, Nikki Smith and husband, Chris of Rowlett, Texas, Shanah Walker and Sha-Sha Martucci of Shreveport, Louisiana; uncle, Steven Canady of Bossier City, Louisiana; niece, Savannah Sandifer; nephew, SJ Sandifer and numerous cousins.
Honoring Dalton as pallbearers will be Cody Andrews, Nicholas Cornelius, Christopher Smith, Caleb Blackstock, Nico Manshack and Russ Walker.
