Diane Brewer

Graveside services for Diane Rayne Brewer, 56, will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Zwolle Cemetery in Zwolle, Louisiana. Diane was born on May 29, 1964 to John W. Remedies and Mildred M. Remedies in Zwolle, Louisiana and passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Diane was a stay-at-home mom. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. Her family was her entire world. Family gatherings were the best! She loved being outside with nature and going places whenever the opportunity presented itself. Diane is preceded in death by her sister, Janet Remedies and Karen Key; and nephew, Jonathon Remedies. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Mildred Remedies; father, John Remedies; stepmother, Connie Remedies; husband of 30 years, Kenneth Brewer; sisters, Lisa Hudson, Susan Wiggins and husband, Randy; brothers, John Remedies and Mike McNerlin; and sister-in-law, Michele Remedies; sons, Justin Brewer, Christopher Brewer and wife, Cassie, and James Brewer and wife, Chandra; daughter, Mechelle O'Briant and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Brad Brewer and wife, Marissa, Kody, Shaley, Cheyann, Elizabeth, Emelee, Christopher, Carter, Autumnrose and Rochelle; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces; great-nephew and other family members. The family would like to express special thanks to the ICU nurses, Jennifer and Courtney, and the physicians at Willis-Knighton South for the special care and compassion given to Diane.
