Donald Kim Mullings

A visitation for Donald Kim Mullings, 63, will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mr. Mullings passed from this world on February 5, 2021. He was born on November 21, 1957 and received his B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from LA Tech University in 1980. He had a long career in the local oil and gas industry and was also the owner of a small sign shop, Precision Signs. He was married for 40 years to the love of his life, Bonnie Mullings, and his most prized possessions were his two little dachshund dogs, Molly and Cooper. Mr. Mullings touched the lives of many people during his time and was known affectionately by many as Uncle Kim and by a few special ones as Grumps. He wanted those who stood by and genuinely cared about him to know how much he truly treasured their relationships. He is survived by his two brothers, Zan and Mark; his stepfather, Raymond Simmons; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas D. Mullings and Ruth Simmons; and his wonderful sister-in-law, Dawn. Kim had a passion for helping animals, so in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Northwest LA in his honor.
