A Celebration of Life service will be held for Graham David Wicker, 18, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Norris Ferry Community Church, 10509 Norris Ferry Rd., Shreveport, LA. Officiating the service will be Reverend Jared Clary.
Graham was born on December 26, 2002, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Elisabeth Chaney Cason and David Lyn Wicker, Jr., and passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 12, 2021, in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Graham attended St. Mark\'s Cathedral School for ten years before making his way to C.E. Byrd High School, where he celebrated graduation in May 2021. From an early age, Graham had a passion for fishing and was a member of Byrd\'s fishing team for two years. His love for Jesus could be seen in his love for others. He was happiest when the family dog, Sam, was in his lap.
Graham is preceded in death by his grandfather, David Lyn Wicker; great-grandfather, Homer Downs; great-grandmother, Irma Wicker and great-grandfather, Ellis Wicker. Left to cherish his memory are his father, David Lyn Wicker, Jr. and wife, Amy; mother, Elisabeth Cason and husband, Kirk; siblings, Bennett Wicker, Cameron Cason, Cassidy Cason, Grayson Russell and wife, Kelsey, and Seth Russell and wife, Jenna; grandmother, Linda Wicker; grandparents, Marion and Jane Chaney; great-grandmother, Nancy Downs; uncle, Ryan Wicker and wife, Susan; aunts, Frances Chaney Thompson and husband, David, Janet Chaney Walker and husband, David, Miriam Chaney Gehan, Patricia Chaney Baggett and husband, Tom and Karen Chaney Barbaree and husband, Phil, nephews, Gentry Russell and Bennett Russell; as well as numerous cousins.
