Funeral services for Joseph Edward Juzan, 82, will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. A graveside service and burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Bayou Scie in Zwolle, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Monday, November 29, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and another one on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. Joseph was born on November 26, 1938 to Louis Peter Juzan and Mary Ellen Leihsing in Campti, Louisiana and passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Joe was a resident of Shreveport and installed flooring for over 50 years. He was still working before his sudden death. In life, he enjoyed fishing, bowling and horse racing. He had a passion for cooking of which he was an excellent cook. He loved spending time with his family. His children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought him so much joy in life. Joe is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Shirley Savill and second wife, Elaine Roberson; daughter, Cindy Wallace; sister, Leona Thomisee; stepson, Weldon Montgomery; step-son-in-law, Rodney Rutherford; grandchildren, Heather R. Sepulvado, Anthony Sepulvado, Scottie Brummerloh and Clay Post. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Shawn Juzan, Carol Rivers and Debbie Rutherford; sons, Ronnie Brummerloh, Lynn Montgomery, Tracy Elliott; and special son-in-law, Jerald Wallace; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Honoring Joe as pallbearers will be Jamie Wallace, Tommy Woodard, Scott Layfield, Trey Elliott, Cody Elliott and Josh Elliott. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Benji Rivers, Tracy Elliott and Jerald Wallace.
