Joy Ann Gathright

A graveside service for Joy Ann Anderson Gathright, 83, will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Summer Grove Cemetery, corner of Bert Kouns and Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Reverend McKee Williams. Joy was born August 25, 1937 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Alvah Ray Anderson and Naomi Elizabeth Boswell Anderson and passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 in Shreveport. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Millard "Fred" Gathright; and daughter, Ellen Renee' Gathright. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Elizabeth Festervand; and son, Thomas "Tom" Ray Gathright; and other family members. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
