Funeral services honoring the life of Kenneth Salley, 79, of Grand Cane, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Justin Haigler. A visitation will precede the funeral service from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service located at Smyrna Cemetery, Grand Cane, Louisiana.
Kenneth was born on April 4, 1942 in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana to Carl and Helen Walker Salley. He entered into eternal rest on May 6, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Kenneth ran a successful steel fabrication company in Keithville, Louisiana for 35 years. He was a successful cattleman, was a crossword puzzle connoisseur, and dabbled in many other projects and hobbies throughout his life. He loved sweet tea and Hershey's kisses with a passion.
Preceding Kenneth in death are his parents; his brother, M.C. Manasco; and his granddaughter, Kandi Cummins. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Cynthia Salley; his children, Keith Salley, Tina Salley, Kevin Salley, and Kristi Niten and husband Tommy; his brothers, Carlton Salley and wife Brenda, and Royce Salley and wife Kristy; his loving grandchildren, Tiffany Jackson and husband Daniel, Ashley Tucker and husband Randy, Cody Niten, Lauren Niten, Josh Salley, and Paris Salley; four great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Honoring Kenneth as pallbearers will be Cody Niten, Josh Salley, Gary Philibert, Dale Walton, Billie Richie, and Brandon McFadden. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Gary Brummett, Jimmy Wooley, Don Ebarb, and Lloyd Cooley.
