Kerry Lynn McGraw

A graveside service for Kerry Lynn McGraw will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Holley Springs Cemetery in Coushatta, Louisiana, with Charles Flynn officiating. On February 15, 2021, Kerry went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is celebrating with his mother and daddy and infant granddaughter. Kerry was born November 18, 1954, to R. W. and Billie Jean Rawls McGraw in Shreveport, Louisiana, where he lived most of his life. He graduated from Woodlawn High School and worked at Libbey Glass and Associated Printing. He later moved to Longview and worked for Medical Plaza Pharmacy and had a lawn service. Kerry enjoyed going to Lake Greeson and collecting antiques. After moving to Longview, the best years of his life were spent renewing his relationship with his parents and they grew very close and saw each other almost every day. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant granddaughter, Savannah McGraw. He is survived by his son, Larry McGraw; his daughter, Evelyn Hanson; grandchildren, Samantha Harris, Johnathon McGraw, Hailee Neuman, and Hayden Hanson; sisters, Sharon Novak and Dianne Austin and husband, Lynn; brothers, Ronnie McGraw and wife, Alice, and Ricky McGraw and wife, Frankie; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to express thanks to Clint Brem, Eddy and Erica Taverez, and Deputies Matthew Hensley, Alton Fugler and Joseph Castillo from the Harrison County Sheriff's Department for braving the frigid cold and snow to search and find Kerry for us. Also special thanks to Clint Brem for helping Kerry so much especially after he had two strokes and to Vern Tunkin who was a good friend to Kerry and is taking wonderful care of his most prized possession, his fur baby, Gypsy. Honoring Kerry as pallbearers will be Ronnie McGraw, Ricky McGraw, Larry McGraw, Eddie McGraw, Lynn Austin, and Charles Crawford. May he rest in peace.
