Funeral services honoring the life of Lawrence Craig will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana. Officiating will be Lawrence's lifelong friend Reverend Douglas Freeman. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Elmer Lawrence Craig was born March 10, 1952 in Zwolle, Louisiana and passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Lawrence was a loving husband, daddy, Papaw, son and brother. He loved cooking, camping and would always go the extra mile to make sure any holiday or event was thoroughly enjoyed by all present. He and his devoted wife, Pam, spent thousands of hours preparing meals, Halloween costumes and any other preparations necessary to make sure their family enjoyed whatever gathering was at hand. He was also a well-respected member of the construction industry in the state of Louisiana for more than 45 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Eula Craig; loving wife of 48 years, Pamela Craig; and sister, Evelyn Cooley. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Charles Craig and wife, Penny of Ruston, LA; daughter, Lorraine Craig and special friend, Brandon of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren, Ryan Addison, Kasmire Addison, Caitlan Craig and Caleb Craig; and great-grandchildren, Alek Addison, Noah Prince, Kaden Prince, Kacee Rayne Oviedo, Lilianna Rose Oviedo and Holly Humphrey. The family would like to express a special thank you to the doctors and nurses in the ICU department at Willis-Knighton North for their compassionate care during this very difficult time in our country.
