Mae Huckabee

A graveside service for Mae Huckabee, 94, will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Cemetery, 3700 St. Vincent Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Brother Cole Melton, pastor of Heritage Baptist Church. Mae was born on May 9, 1926 to Harvey and Ruth Brown and passed away with her daughter, Stacy, by her side on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Mae was a resident of Keithville and loved to cook and sew, and listen to gospel music, particularly the Gaithers. She spent her life making a home for her family that she loved so much. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. Mae is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chester Cisco Huckabee; brothers, Arlon Brown, and Earl Brown; sisters, Ethel Pyle, Doris Baldwin, Opal Hughes and Nell Shahan. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Stacy Gregory and husband, Chad, and Joyce Pinchera; son, Dudley Huckabee; grandchildren, Hannah Gregory, Rachel Grinberg, Paul Pinchera, and Chris Pinchera; great-grandchildren, David Pinchera, Dakota Pinchera, Ethan and Elianna Grinberg.
