Memorial services for Nan Jones will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church West Chapel with Rev. Richard Methvin and Rev. Bill Crider officiating.
Nan was born July 31, 1952 in Shreveport, Louisiana and entered into rest June 4, 2019 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was a retired senior branch office administrator with Edward Jones. Nan was a past member of the Krewe of Ambassadeurs and Young Women's Service Club and also volunteered in Cultural Crossroads. Nan always loved being involved with any family oriented function.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and LaVerne Strong.
She is survived by her sons, David A. Lewis and fiancé Madison Fletcher of Minden, and B.J. Jones and wife Krystal of Keithville, daughters, Jennifer A. Lewis and Karen R. Lewis both of Minden, sister, Jo Strong and fiancé Randy Shelley of Minden, grandchildren, Haley Anne Monk and husband Jonathan, Jessica Lee Winiarski and husband Jacob, Britten Culverhouse and wife Bailey, and Sawyer Eric Lee, great-grandchildren, Destiny, Caden, Kimrey Anne, Emma, and Josie, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
